About The Position
The CDL-A Dedicated Dry Van Driver operates dedicated paper product and commercial print routes from the Sussex, Wisconsin distribution hub. The work involves approximately 2,000 to 2,400 miles per week, or about three loads weekly, hauling paper and specialized ink shipments in dry van trailers. Freight is 100% zero-touch, with average dock turnaround times of one to two hours. Drivers are out for 14 days and then home for two full days. Flexible availability is required for day, night, and weekend dispatches. Applicants must live within 150 miles of Sussex, Wisconsin. Average weekly earnings are $1,400, with top weekly earning potential of $1,500 to $1,600. Pay includes $0.60 to $0.64 per mile based on experience, $15 per stop, $100 layover pay, and $15 per hour in detention pay after four hours. Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available after 30 days. Paid vacation starts at one week after the first year and scales to three weeks at year three.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least three months of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past three years.
- Must obtain a Tanker endorsement within 90 days of hire; the company reimburses the cost in full.
- Must pass mandatory pre-employment dual-panel hair follicle and urine drug screens.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving history.
- Must reside within 150 miles of Sussex, Wisconsin.
- Flexible availability for day, night, and weekend dispatches.
