About The Position

Flint Logistics is hiring CDL-A drivers to haul 100% no-touch dry van freight consisting of general commodities across established lanes throughout the lower 48 states. Most loads are drop-and-hook, and drivers are not required to load or unload freight. The position offers weekly home time and pay of $1,400 to $1,600 per week, with a $1,200 minimum weekly pay for the first 90 days. Drivers may operate Freightliner, Volvo, or Peterbilt tractors from 2017 to 2022, depending on availability. Trucks have automatic transmissions, an APU, and an inverter. The four-day orientation includes transportation by flight or rental car, meals, and $1,000 in orientation pay. Flint Logistics states that qualified drivers are considered for employment regardless of background or personal characteristics.

Requirements

Hold a CDL-A license in the state of residence.
Have 6 months of experience in the last 24 months or 1 year of experience in the last 3 years.
Have experience with trailers 48 feet or longer.
Have a current DOT physical or obtain assistance with the cost of a new one.

Responsibilities

Haul general commodity freight in dry van trailers across established routes throughout the lower 48 states.
Operate primarily drop-and-hook loads.
Drive without loading or unloading freight.
Follow planned freight lanes while maintaining weekly home time.
