CDL-A Dedicated Driver – No-Touch Freight + $2,500 Bonus
About The Position
Drive a dedicated local refrigerated account based in Henderson, North Carolina, hauling 100% no-touch freight to retail stores in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia, within approximately 300 miles of Henderson. Drivers travel approximately 1,250 miles per week, typically completing 1–3 routes per day with 1–3 stops per trip. Routes pay the greater of mileage pay or the applicable minimum mileage-band pay, with additional pay for stops. The position offers daily home time, though rare overnight hotel stays and occasional 10-hour breaks on the road may occur. Shifts are at night, starting between 8 PM and 11 PM. The rotating schedule consists of six days worked followed by a 34-hour restart, then five days worked followed by two days off. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Drivers operate slip-seat International, Freightliner, and Kenworth day cabs, with on-site support available 24/7. Average weekly pay is $1,200 when working the full schedule, with annual earning potential of up to $70,000. Mileage pay ranges from $0.45 to $0.54 per mile based on experience, and stop pay is $20 per stop. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is paid over the first 180 days, subject to being an active company driver at each payout milestone. Training includes one classroom day at $50 and 2–3 ride-along days at $100 per day. Paid vacation increases with length of service, from one week after one year to four weeks after 15 years.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- No SAP drivers.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from the Henderson distribution center.
- Availability for night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
