About The Position

Hotel Adeline is seeking a Lobby Attendant to join its Housekeeping team. The role helps maintain clean, welcoming public spaces and supports room attendants, contributing to a comfortable and memorable guest experience. The position involves interacting with guests, working as part of a team, and completing cleaning and linen-handling tasks according to department procedures.

Requirements

• Housekeeping experience is desirable.
• Neat, pleasant personality.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to work on feet for an extended period.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to move, traverse, and position oneself to reach floor corners and high places; observe conditions and detect odors; and position and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces.
• Ability to operate spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters.
• Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well.
• Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort or hotel cleanliness.
• Walk assigned floors at the beginning and end of shifts to collect bags, trash, and soiled linen.
• Pick up clean linen and refill the par stock of linen in each floor pantry.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including bathrooms, lounge areas, and hallways.
• Assist room attendants with heavy lifting during super cleaning or spring cleaning of rooms.
• Clean public areas according to prescribed methods and department standard operating procedures.
• Remove soiled linen and trash from service areas and take them to appropriate locations as prescribed.
• Respond to guests and team members in a friendly, helpful manner.
