About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of public areas, assisting guests, and adhering to company policies and procedures. The Lobby-Public Attendant will perform a variety of cleaning tasks, restock supplies, report maintenance issues, and provide basic assistance to guests. Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and/or floors with cleaning agents by extending arms overhead to reach all above areas.
- Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves, extending arms over head, bending and stooping as needed.
- Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion.
- Clean ashtrays and empty trash.
- Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
- Monitor cleanliness throughout assigned shift.
- Restock supplies and report maintenance issues.
- Assist guests with directions or basic inquiries.
- Maintain safety and sanitation standards.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
