About The Position

The Lobby Attendant is part of the Housekeeping team at Hotel Valley Ho and helps maintain clean, welcoming public spaces while supporting room attendants. The role contributes to guest satisfaction by attending to detail, assisting guests, and helping the team meet hotel cleanliness standards.

Requirements

Ability to work on your feet for an extended period.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to move, traverse, and position yourself to reach floor corners and high places; observe conditions and detect odors; and position and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces.
Ability to operate spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters.
Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well.
Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort and hotel cleanliness.
Walk assigned floors at the beginning and end of each shift to collect bags, trash, and soiled linen.
Pick up clean linen and refill linen par stock in each floor pantry.
Ensure the cleanliness of public areas, including bathrooms, lounge areas, and hallways.
Help room attendants with heavy lifting during super cleaning and spring cleaning of rooms.
Clean public areas according to prescribed methods and departmental standard operating procedures.
Remove soiled linen and trash from service areas and take them to appropriate locations as prescribed.
Respond to guests and team members in a friendly and helpful manner.
