About The Position

This position provides administrative support to financial services lending staff in the processing of new and renewed personal loans, mortgages, and lines of credit for all designated branches. You will also prepare and submit legal mortgage document packages to lawyers within established timeliness and accuracy standards. You will also prepare documentation for retail mortgage and loan discharges, maintain retail loan files and records, prepare a variety of retail loan reports, support the Retail Delinquency Control Program for all accounts by reviewing daily and weekly delinquency reports and initiating collection activities. Perform a variety of related general administrative support duties. This position is a bargaining unit position.

Requirements

  • Secondary school diploma plus two years of experience in a member service and/or commercial services related role from a Financial Institution.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Excellent Communication skills - written and oral.
  • Professional image.
  • Credit Union knowledge of lending and deposit products and services.
  • Personal computer literacy – keyboarding, email programs, Word & Intermediate Excel capabilities.
  • Successful applicants will also be required to undergo a bonding process that includes a criminal record check and credit check.
