About The Position

This role is responsible for performing general loan servicing activities, including payment processing support, escrow administration, and insurance and tax tracking. The position provides day-to-day account maintenance and customer support while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of servicing items.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with loan processing systems, data entry, and Microsoft Office applications, with a foundational understanding of loan documentation and regulatory requirements.

  • Exposure to banking operations, financial institutions or mortgage servicing, and general administrative or financial operations support.

Responsibilities

  • Perform payment research and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate loan account balances.
  • Maintain loan accounts by processing updates, corrections, and system changes as needed.
  • Administering escrow accounts, including setup, analysis, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Track and monitor insurance and tax requirements to ensure coverage compliance.
  • Process loan payoffs, including calculations and final account reconciliation.
  • Respond to customer and internal inquiries, providing timely and accurate servicing support.
  • Prepare and process borrower statements, notices, and required communications.
  • Ensure all servicing activities are completed in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations and company policies.
  • Provide additional support for tax and insurance functions, including issue resolution and follow-up.
  • Perform other duties assigned to support departmental operations
