About The Position

West-Aircomm Federal Credit Union is seeking a Loan Processor to manage the loan application process, ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance, and provide service to members. The position is based at the home office in Beaver and may involve providing support at branch offices as requested by management. The Loan Processor reports to the VP of Lending.

Requirements

• Knowledge of lending practices, loan documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with data processing and internet-based systems.
• Flexibility to work across multiple branch locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct loan interviews and process applications in person or over the phone.
• Prepare and review loan documentation for all branches.
• Disburse and close various types of loans.
• Post loans and reconcile balances at the end of the business day.
• Schedule and coordinate loan closings.
• Release titles for paid-off auto loans.
• Assist the VISA Credit department with inquiries and tasks as needed.
• Promote credit union products and services to members.
• Ensure compliance with lending regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements.
• Provide support at branch offices as requested by management.
• Perform additional lending-related duties as directed by the VP of Lending.
