About The Position

The Loan Processor prepares, reviews, verifies, and processes documentation for consumer, commercial, and other lending products in accordance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures. The role ensures loan files are accurate and complete, supports lending staff and branch personnel, and provides customer service while maintaining compliance with applicable banking regulations.

Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent.
1 to 3 years of loan processing experience.
Computer proficiency.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Dependable transportation.
Knowledge of loan processing and lending documentation.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan processing systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Process new loans, renewals, modifications, extensions, and other loan transactions.
Review loan approvals and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Prepare and process loan documentation using bank systems.
Verify loan terms, collateral, insurance, and supporting documentation.
Perform quality-control reviews and resolve discrepancies.
Process general ledger entries related to loans.
Maintain loan records and customer information.
Assist with loan boarding, funding, renewals, and payoffs.
Support lenders, branches, and loan operations activities.
Coordinate with third parties to obtain required documentation.
Maintain confidentiality and assist with special projects as assigned.
Adhere to bank policies and regulations.
Maintain knowledge of TRID, TILA, HMDA, ECOA, Flood, BSA/AML, FCRA, and other applicable regulations.
