About The Position

The Loan Processor prepares loan documents, loan packages for banks, and copies of executed documents. The role also supports other areas within the company and handles the full loan process for new and used vessels and other transactions. It involves customer and institutional communication, file maintenance, general office work, and assistance at promotional events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete the entire loan process for new and used vessels and other transactions.
• Handle calls with customers, tag offices, federal offices, and banks about related issues.
• Maintain good customer relationships by processing loan documents promptly.
• Use computer skills to compose correspondence.
• Perform general office duties, including copying, collating, and faxing.
• Contact lending institutions for customer loan payoffs and follow up on titles that have not been received.
• Maintain customer files.
• Provide assistance at boat shows and other off-site promotional events as necessary.
• File correspondence and other records.
• Provide backup support to other departments.
