About The Position

First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a Loan Processor to join its Retail Credit Service Center. The role is responsible for preparing loan documents, reviewing executed documents submitted by branches, boarding new consumer loan and line-of-credit requests through the LoansPQ system into IBS, processing disbursements, performing quality-control reviews for data accuracy, and balancing the General Ledger after loans are boarded. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although hours may vary. The salary range is $19.00–$23.25 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in general clerical office work or a related field.
• Some working knowledge of banking or consumer finance.
• Good knowledge of the Bank’s CIP, BSA, and AML policies and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines and tasks.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask.
• Good analytical and proofreading skills.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good team-building skills.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft 365 suite of applications and ability to learn various software programs.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
• Banking experience in the consumer loan area with good working knowledge of various consumer loan products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare loan documents.
