About The Position

The Loan Booking Verification Associate supports the team’s primary work of accurately booking consumer loans into the core system and processing paid consumer loans. The position handles routine tasks according to established procedures and may occasionally involve non-standard assignments. The department typically works weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. After training, the position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The role has no supervisory duties.

Requirements

High school diploma.
One year of loan servicing or related experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Good communication skills.
Accurate data entry and typing skills.
Ability to use office equipment such as phones, fax machines, and calculators.
Ability to work both in a team environment and independently while following procedures.

Responsibilities

Book new installment and HELOC loans into the core system.
Process HELOC renewals.
Perform Day 2 data reviews for newly booked and renewed installment, HELOC, and mortgage loans.
Enter comments in the shared reconciliation for each loan listed as part of Loan Control.
Distribute new loans for booking.
Process paid consumer loans.
As needed, rebook compromised HELOCs.
Update the core system for HELOC modifications.
Process returned mail.
Create thin files for consumer and mortgage loans.
Work through document errors and communicate them to the Doc Prep team.
