About The Position

The Loader/Operator operates production equipment according to established procedures and guidelines, maintains a clean and orderly work area and equipment, and follows safety regulations. The role participates in CMC Safety Programs and proactively supports the company’s safety culture. Other tasks may be assigned by a supervisor. CMC offers training and advancement opportunities and describes the position as an opportunity to learn about the steel, construction reinforcement, and ground stabilization industries.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Previous experience operating a forklift, skid steer, loader, or similar equipment.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience in a recycling and/or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Prior knowledge of metal identification is a plus.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
