About The Position

Archer Western Construction, LLC is seeking a Loader Operator for the TSEFL/South Selmon Capacity Project in Tampa, Florida. The primary function is to operate a loader at the worksite to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building structures. Equipment operators may also assist with other jobsite duties as needed. Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
May be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to help ensure projects are completed properly.
Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
Good manual dexterity; may need to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Nice To Haves

3–5 years of operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate a loader to move and transport dirt, rocks, and other aggregate materials.
Follow operating procedures for loading and unloading materials.
Oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments to equipment as needed.
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
Complete paperwork and other documentation as needed.
Perform other related duties as required.
