About The Position

The Loader Operator II operates heavy equipment and trucks, helps set up equipment in the yard for auctions, and assists customers during and after auctions. The role supports yard operations and safety, helps with vehicle check-in tasks as needed, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1–2 years of prior experience as a Loader Operator I or similar external experience.
Experience operating heavy machinery.
Good spoken and written English.
Good computer skills and the ability to learn new programs quickly.
A track record of working safely and helping others work safely.
Ability to relate well with customers and team members.
Ability to work as part of a team and help where needed, as well as self-start and work independently.
Organized and able to handle multiple tasks at once.
High level of attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Ability to operate a large 36,000 lbs forklift is an asset.

Responsibilities

Operate all types of heavy equipment and trucks.
Help set up equipment in the yard for auctions.
Help customers load their equipment purchases and answer yard-related questions.
Take personal responsibility for safety and support the safety of the team, co-workers, and customers.
Learn and assist with vehicle check-in tasks as needed.
Support and assist with Yard Staff responsibilities as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
