This role coordinates and manages the furniture load out process to ensure accurate, timely shipment of products to customers and retail locations. It serves as the critical link between warehouse operations and delivery teams, maintaining efficient workflow and accurate documentation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2-3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving operations
- Associate's degree in logistics, supply chain, or business administration preferred
- Experience with furniture or large item handling preferred
- Previous experience coordinating loading operations or dock management a plus
- Familiarity with delivery route planning or sequencing beneficial
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily furniture loading operations with delivery drivers and warehouse staff
- Verify order accuracy against customer invoices and delivery manifests
- Manage load sequencing to optimize delivery routes and protect merchandise
- Process shipping documentation and maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems
- Monitor load quality standards and ensure proper packaging/protection of furniture items
- Resolve loading discrepancies and coordinate product substitutions or backorders
