About The Position

Join the team as an Online Learning Specialist in Boston, Massachusetts. This hybrid role combines in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. The Online Learning Specialist is the primary business owner for the learning management system (LMS), managing digital learning experiences that build skills, support technical development, and provide just-in-time resources. The role supports implementation of the new Cornerstone Galaxy LMS, including migration, project coordination, content uploads, and system troubleshooting.

The position also develops and updates user-facing documentation and resources for system implementation and change management, checks course accessibility and functionality, maintains the course repository, and provides Tier 2 help desk support.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
• 2–3 years of experience administering an LMS and managing online learning programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Experience working in a large, complex organization with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in learning management systems.
• Understanding of human-centered design principles and adult learning theory.
• Strong project management skills.
• Attention to detail and a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the Cornerstone platform.
• Experience in an institution of higher education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update user-facing documentation and resources to support LMS implementation and change management (40%).
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure course accessibility and functionality, and maintain the course repository (30%).
• Assist in planning and coordinating migration to the new LMS (20%).
• Provide Tier 2 help desk support, including basic system troubleshooting (10%).
• Support project management, content uploading, and troubleshooting for the new LMS implementation.
