About The Position

Griswold Home Care for Northern Vermont is seeking experienced Live-In Caregivers to provide dependable, non-medical support to older adults who want to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. Caregivers provide hands-on assistance and companionship while helping clients maintain as much independence as possible. The work may involve personal care, daily routines, household support, transportation, observation, communication, and overnight presence, depending on the client’s needs and individualized care plan. This is a live-in position: caregivers stay in a client’s home during an assignment. Schedules, sleeping arrangements, time away from the home, overnight expectations, responsibilities, rest periods, and compensation vary by assignment and will be discussed before acceptance. Live-in care does not mean being continuously awake and actively working 24 hours a day. Caregivers must be comfortable staying in a client’s home for extended periods, maintaining appropriate professional boundaries, following household expectations and care plans, and communicating with the office about changes or concerns. The role calls for dependable, attentive, communicative, compassionate, and professional caregivers who can work independently while remaining connected to the Griswold office team. The position is based in Northern Vermont, with the possibility of supporting other territories in Blair County, Philadelphia, or Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. The posting advertises an average of $200 per day, with potential for growth.
