About The Position
We are seeking three reliable and compassionate caregivers to provide care for a client in Huntsville, TX. This position follows a consistent rotating live-in schedule, allowing each caregiver to work approximately 2-3 consecutive days before handing off care to the next team member. This is an excellent opportunity for caregivers who enjoy providing one-on-one care in a home setting while benefiting from a predictable, recurring schedule. The schedule repeats each week, providing consistency for both the client and caregivers. During each live-in rotation, the caregiver will be provided with a private bedroom for sleeping, access to a private or shared bathroom, and all meals while on duty. The client pays for all food, and caregivers will enjoy the same meals that are prepared for the client, so there is no cost for meals during the live-in shift.
Requirements
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting)
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care
- Remind the client about medications (if permitted by agency policy)
- Monitor and report changes in the client's condition
- Ensure a smooth and thorough handoff to the next caregiver at the end of each rotation
