Dishwasher (Part Time, 2-3 Shifts/week)
About The Position
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a part-time Dishwasher to help maintain the cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas in a long-term care facility. The role supports the preparation and service of nutritious meals and contributes to positive experiences for residents, staff, and guests. The Dishwasher washes dishes, pots, pans, and utensils; sanitizes kitchen equipment, workstations, and dining areas; follows food safety and sanitation guidelines; and disposes of waste and recycling. The position also involves interacting positively with residents, staff, and guests and performing other duties as assigned. Candidates must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously, work around food and cleaning products, and meet the stated physical requirements. Residency within the service area is required. Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required where mandated by state or county law.
Requirements
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
- Residency within the service area is required.
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required based on state or county law.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils thoroughly to maintain kitchen cleanliness.

- Dispose of waste and recycle materials as needed.
