Dishwasher (Part Time)
About The Position
Morrison Healthcare is hiring a part-time Dishwasher at St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. The role maintains dishes, cookware, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition. No prior experience is required, and training is available. Cross-training in other department areas is also available. Days and hours vary, shifts rotate, and rotating weekends are required. The posted pay range is $14.00 to $14.50 per hour. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or load them into racks or a dishwashing machine, depending on assigned equipment.
- Maintain complete cleanliness and sanitation of dishes and work areas.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures.
- Polish silver using the assigned equipment and procedures.
- Follow established safety procedures.
- Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors in accordance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash and place it in designated containers.
- Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Help load and unload supplies and products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
