DISHWASHER (PART TIME)
About The Position
Unidine is hiring part-time Dishwashers at Crestview Retirement Community in Bryan, Texas. The Dishwasher maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. The role involves cleaning dishes and cookware by hand or using dishwashing equipment, polishing silverware as assigned, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and handling supplies and waste. Days and hours may vary; weekend and holiday availability is required. The pay range is $10.00 to $12.00 per hour. A free shift meal, uniform, and access to tuition and scholarship programs are offered.
Requirements
- At least one year of prior back-of-house experience.
- Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Nice To Haves
- Food handler's license is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, then wash them by hand or place them in racks or on a conveyor for machine washing; ensure they are clean and sanitized.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures and ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
- Polish silver using assigned equipment and procedures, such as a burnishing machine, chemical dip, buffing wheel, or hand cloth.
- Comply with outlined safety procedures.
- Maintain temperatures and chemical levels according to provided standards.
- Keep the dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
- Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
- Remove trash to designated containers and steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Help load and unload supplies and product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
