About The Position

UniversaCare is seeking a live-in caregiver to provide in-home care to clients in New Haven, Connecticut, and surrounding towns. This is a field-based role where you will reside in the client's home to offer support throughout the day. The position involves assisting with personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, running errands, and providing companionship to ensure the client's safety and well-being at home. You will be responsible for following the established care plan and maintaining communication with the office.

Requirements

• Caregiving experience
• Ability to stay in the client’s home on a live-in schedule
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Live in the client’s home and support them through the day
• Help with personal care, meals, housekeeping and errands
• Provide companionship and help the client stay safe at home
• Follow the care plan and keep the office updated
