About The Position

UniversaCare is hiring a live-in caregiver to care for clients in New Haven and nearby towns, Connecticut. This role involves living in the client's home and providing comprehensive support throughout the day. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, preparing meals, performing housekeeping duties, running errands, and offering companionship to ensure the client's safety and well-being at home. The caregiver will be responsible for following the established care plan and maintaining regular communication with the office.

Requirements

• Caregiving experience and the ability to stay in the client’s home on a live-in schedule
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Live in the client’s home and support them through the day
• Help with personal care, meals, housekeeping and errands
• Provide companionship and help the client stay safe at home
• Follow the care plan and keep the office updated
