About The Position

Offit Kurman is seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join its growing practice in the Dallas area. This full-time, in-office position focuses primarily on employment litigation, with additional opportunities to handle a variety of commercial litigation matters. The attorney will represent both employers and employees in employment disputes and handle commercial litigation matters. The ideal candidate is a hands-on litigator who enjoys managing cases, taking depositions, appearing in court, and working directly with clients. Trial experience is welcome but not required.

Requirements

• Approximately 5 or more years of litigation experience.
• Experience handling depositions and taking an active role in litigation proceedings.
• Strong research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, in-office environment.

Nice To Haves

• Trial experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents.
• Represent clients in hearings, court proceedings, injunction matters, and other contested proceedings.
• Develop litigation strategies and work directly with clients.
• Handle matters independently while collaborating with senior attorneys on more complex cases.
