About The Position

Taylor Liquor Store is seeking a Liquor Clerk to join their dynamic team. This is a part-time position requiring 24-36 hours per week, with eligibility for benefits after 3 months. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment and an interest in the liquor industry is desired. Availability for weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, is required.

Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to work in the Liquor Store environment
• Must have valid ProServe certification
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to consecutively lift 50 lbs. required for unloading pallets

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail experience is an asset

Responsibilities

• Ensure all customers are greeted in a friendly manner
• Offer product expertise and guidance
• Process sales transactions accurately
• Receive, unpack, and display merchandise
• Perform opening and closing duties with thorough attention to detail
• Ensure compliance with Central Alberta Co-op and AGLC’s policies
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
