About The Position

Join our Team at Deer Park Food Store! Are you dedicated to providing exceptional customer service? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments? Deer Park Food Store presents the perfect opportunity for you! We're currently looking for a Food Cashier to join our dynamic team. This is a part-time position, requiring 24-36 hours per week, with benefit eligibility after 3 months. Availability is needed for weekdays and weekends, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
• Applicants must be over 14 years old (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required)

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and respond to customer questions
• Ensure accurate processing of sale transactions
• Bag and assist with carrying out purchases
• Complete cash-up procedures
