Liquidation & Cleanout Team Lead
About The Position
Caring Transitions of Englishtown & Marlboro is hiring an experienced Team Lead to oversee estate sales, CTBids online auctions, and residential cleanouts in Monmouth County, New Jersey. The role supervises employees and liquidation operations, identifies valuable merchandise, and helps prevent inventory loss while coordinating with the Sorting & Packing Team Lead. This is a flexible, part-time position with project-based shifts, including occasional weekends. Pay is $25–$28 per hour. The work involves standing, bending, lifting and carrying merchandise, staging items, and working in cluttered residential properties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in liquidation, auctions, resale, consignment, or related inventory operations.
- Knowledge of valuable secondhand merchandise.
- Strong leadership, organization, and inventory security skills.
- Reliable transportation.

- Experience with estate sales or online resale.
Responsibilities
- Supervise cleanout and liquidation crews.
- Identify valuable items before authorized disposal.
- Oversee CTBids sorting, lotting, photography, and inventory.
- Maintain a target of 4–5 standard photo-ready lots per employee per hour, adjusted for complexity.
- Manage premium estate sales with researched pricing, staging, and featured advertising.
- Manage value-focused estate sales with category-based displays and pricing at checkout.
- Protect high-value merchandise through inventory tracking, secure storage, and documented handoffs.
- Prevent unauthorized merchandise removal and promptly report discrepancies.
- Coordinate teams, schedules, and daily productivity.
