About The Position

The Linen Technician provides quality linen service and products to hospital customers in a timely and professional manner. The role is responsible for filling and moving linen carts to assigned areas throughout the hospital while meeting established quality and safety standards. It is an active, hands-on, fast-paced position involving extensive walking, standing, bending, twisting, and pushing and pulling heavy linen carts. The technician helps ensure hospital staff have clean linen to support patient comfort, safety, and care.

Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours a day.
Ability to push and pull clean and soiled linen carts weighing up to 800 pounds on wheels.
Sufficient manual dexterity to build and organize linen carts.
Ability to consistently perform physical movements including bending, twisting, and pulling.
Ability to accurately perform simple mathematics.
Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and function as part of a team.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Cross-train in other positions based on facility needs.
