About The Position

The Linen Distribution Tech ensures linen carts are fully stocked and delivers clean linen to hospital departments. The role involves handling and recording linen inventory, filling orders from hospital staff, and keeping the linen room and carts organized. The position is located at Advocate Christ, 4440 W. 95th Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois. It is full-time, scheduled from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with rotating weekends required. More schedule details are provided upon interview. Pay is $18 per hour.

Requirements

• Pass a background check.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Be able to push or pull a wheeled cart weighing 650 pounds.
• Be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and possibly holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build clean, neat, organized carts to the standard par level.
• Deliver clean linen to different hospital departments.
• Pick up soiled carts from all floors when working the second shift.
• Take and fill orders from hospital staff.
• Clean the linen room as necessary, including sweeping, mopping, and picking up.
• Open new linen for processing.
• Align and stage carts as needed.
• Count and record terry and linen inventory.
