About The Position

As a Linehaul Driver, you will transport freight between Southeastern’s Service Center or designated points in-between. You will operate a tractor-trailer combination (single or double) in urban, suburban, and rural areas and in all types of weather conditions. You will receive and verify dispatch instructions and verify loads against shipping documents. When hauling hazardous material, you will verify the hazardous material product description, identify discrepancies in the paperwork, and verify proper placarding. All duties must be performed in a manner that promotes superior customer service and professionalism.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old.
• At least 6 months of driving experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Satisfactorily pass a background check and alcohol and drug test.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples Endorsements.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and write in English and perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Mental ability to handle receipts, read maps and road signs, and maintain a maintenance log.
• Ability to meet DOT regulations and guidelines pertaining to the physical qualifications for commercial drivers.
