About The Position

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking a safety-conscious Class A Linehaul Driver based in Grand Junction, Colorado. The driver transfers freight between customer and terminal locations on the Grand Junction–Denver–Grand Junction route, covering 506 miles. The position operates Monday through Friday, beginning at 7:00 p.m., and drivers are home daily with weekends off. Compensation is $0.77 for singles and $0.79 for doubles.

The role involves inspecting and operating tractor-trailer combinations, connecting and hauling trailers, and ensuring shipments are accompanied by the required documentation. Drivers must complete paperwork required by government regulations and company procedures and policies. Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required, or the driver must be willing to obtain them; renewals are reimbursable.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 21 years of age.
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• No DUI’s or DWI’s in the past 3 years.
• No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years.
• Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Hook up and haul trailers between customer and terminal locations as instructed by dispatch or an immediate supervisor.
• Ensure shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies shipments to their delivery points.
• Operate a tractor-trailer combination for extended periods over long distances.
• Complete paperwork required by government regulations and company procedures and policies.
