About The Position

The Line Unloader supports the activities and responsibilities of the Paint Room at Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. The role uses care and organizational skill to help maintain the company’s quality and service standards. The incumbent unloads products from the paint line, stacks them properly, and communicates with coworkers and supervisors to keep the line operating effectively. Additional duties may be assigned by the manager.

• Experience removing staples and stacking products.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 60 pounds of product.
• Ability to perform frequent bending, lifting, standing, walking, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• Ability to frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear clearly.
• Required vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to endure extreme summer heat.

Responsibilities

• Unload products from the paint line and stack them properly on a stack board.
• Notify the Parts Mover when a pallet is complete.
• Communicate issues with stapling product that may affect the paint line to the Lead Person or Supervisor.
• Assist coworkers on the assembly line as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and work process procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by the supervisor.
