About The Position

Kendall Ford is seeking Ford Certified Service Technicians to join their growing team. They are looking for Automotive Technicians / Mechanics of all skill levels. Kendall Auto Group is one of the largest family-owned and operated dealers in the Pacific Northwest and a premier employer in Marysville.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Service Technician or mechanical experience at a dealership or large independent shop.
  • Ford Certification
  • B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
  • Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Able to operate a wide variety of both automatic and manual transmission
  • Able to drive various vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred
  • Previous experience working with luxury vehicles is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting, diagnosing, and identifying work that needs to be completed on various vehicles.
  • Performing adjustments and calibrations.
  • Replenishing fluids.
  • Disassembling and reassembling vehicle components.
  • Repairing or replacing parts.
  • Using independent judgment to make decisions.
  • Documenting all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall policies.
  • Road testing all vehicles to ensure quality of work and issue resolution.
