About The Position

The Line Operator IV sets up, operates, and maintains aerosol and liquid filling equipment to produce defect-free finished goods. Safety is the top priority. The role is responsible for safety, 6S, quality, and uptime goals, and follows standard work to meet or exceed established cycle times. The operator practices Continuous Improvement and supports packaging line operations, changeovers, product blending, quality checks, and downtime improvement.

Requirements

Ability to pass Lean audits covering 6S, Standard Work, SMED, and TPM for the area.
Ability to operate and change over complex packaging equipment.
Ability to blend raw materials according to product specifications and SFO instructions/key points.
Ability to use a computer and enter accurate process data.
Good attendance record, defined as two absences or less, and the ability to maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain aerosol and liquid filling equipment.
Operate and change over complex packaging equipment supporting the packaging line.
Blend raw materials to create products that meet specifications and follow SFO instructions and key points.
Know and follow all Standard Work and Key Points.
Assist with creating, implementing, and sustaining Standard Work and Key Points.
Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities and assigned quality checks.
Work with teams to promote Continuous Improvement.
Assist the team with coordinating and pre-planning changeover activities using SMED tools.
Work with maintenance and leadership to understand, analyze, and use downtime data to improve uptime.
Input or acquire information from a computer and enter accurate data into process collection systems in use.
Meet TAKT time during equipment changeovers by following Standard Work.
Maintain a good attendance record, defined as two absences or less.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
