About The Position

Quail Park of Lynnwood is hiring a Housekeeper to help keep residents’ apartments and community common areas attractive, clean, and safe. The role includes routine and annual deep cleaning of assigned apartments, supporting laundry needs, cleaning shared spaces and resident equipment, and promptly addressing spills and soiled areas. The position is on the 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m. shift. The stated pay rate is $18.00–$22.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must possess strong customer service skills and a desire to go above and beyond for residents.
Ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to interpret written instructions and communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
Must meet all health-related requirements pertaining to local and state regulatory agencies.
Familiarity with cleaning products and techniques.
Experience with commercial floor-cleaning equipment.

Nice To Haves

Previous housekeeping experience in senior living or another hospitality industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned resident apartments weekly, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning counters and other surfaces, cleaning appliances, sinks and fixtures, tidying, and emptying trash.
Deep-clean assigned apartments annually according to the community’s deep-cleaning schedule.
Coordinate with Care Department team members to ensure resident linens and towels are changed and laundered according to schedule and as needed due to incontinence.
Assist with resident laundry as needed.
Clean community common areas according to the assigned schedule, including hallways, elevators, lobby, living room, dining rooms, activity areas, wellness center, and other sitting areas.
Clean spills and soiled areas of carpets and furniture in a timely manner.
Assist with cleaning walkers, wheelchairs, and other resident equipment as needed.
