About The Position

The Line Lead assists the Supervisor in coordinating the department’s daily responsibilities by ensuring the Supervisor’s instructions are communicated to team members and carried out timely and correctly. The role monitors equipment to ensure it is operating properly, notifies the Supervisor when maintenance is needed, and helps maintain a safe work environment while adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The position is at a facility producing hot dogs, cocktails, and sliced meats.

Requirements

At least 6 months of lead experience.
At least 6 months of machine operator experience.
Must be able to read and understand manuals, blueprints, plant paperwork, and labels.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach as required.
Must be able to stand for 8–10 hours on hard floors.
Must be able to perform repetitive motions as required in many areas.
Must be able to work in a cold, damp environment and on slippery walking surfaces.
Previous Tyson employees must wait at least 180 days before rehire and are limited to three times of employment.
