About The Position

Tyson Foods is hiring a Line Lead for its facility in Alexandria, Kentucky, which produces hot dogs, cocktails, and sliced meats. The role assists the Supervisor in coordinating daily department responsibilities by communicating the Supervisor’s instructions to team members and ensuring they are carried out correctly and on time. The Line Lead monitors equipment, reports maintenance needs to the Supervisor, and helps maintain a safe work environment while following Tyson policies and procedures. The role requires the ability to read and understand manuals, blueprints, plant paperwork, and labels. The position is on the first shift and starts at $26.90 per hour. Relocation assistance is not available.

Requirements

At least 6 months of lead experience.
At least 6 months of machine operator experience.
Ability to read and understand manuals, blueprints, plant paperwork, and labels.
Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting up to 50 pounds; standing, walking, bending, squatting, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching; standing for 8–10 hours on hard floors; repetitive motions; and working in a cold, damp environment and on slippery walking surfaces.
