About The Position

Life Alive is hiring a Line Cook for its South End location. The role is part of the back-of-house team and focuses on preparing food to established standards, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization, stocking inventory and service stations, and helping meet a ticket-time goal of six minutes or less. The successful candidate communicates and collaborates with the team, supports guest service, and lives and shares Life Alive’s mission and values. This is a full-time position with a minimum one-year employment commitment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed.
• Help achieve a ticket-time goal of six minutes or less.
• Ensure high-quality ingredients and standard food preparation.
• Prepare food for service, such as chopping vegetables and preparing sauces.
• Prepare recipes according to standard procedures.
• Stock and prepare stations for service.
• Communicate product needs to back-of-house team members and managers on duty.
