About The Position

RiverWoods Exeter is hiring a full-time Line Cook for its Dining Services team. The role prepares a variety of menu items with fresh, whole-food ingredients and helps deliver quality, consistent, well-presented meals for residents and staff. The position offers a more consistent work environment than a traditional restaurant and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents’ lives. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, with typical shifts between 11:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. The position is located in Exeter, New Hampshire, and pays $20 per hour or more depending on experience. Requirements

High school diploma or GED/HiSET.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Nice To Haves

2–4 years of culinary experience.
ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

Prepare hot and cold menu items for residents and staff according to production sheets and standardized recipes.
Execute hot-line service, including sauté and grill station duties, and ensure proper meat temperatures and consistent presentation of à la carte meals.
Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and food-handling practices.
Meet with the Sous Chef and/or Director of Culinary Operations to review production needs, culinary techniques, service timing, and special events.
Participate in required in-service training and professional development opportunities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
Support team members to promote efficient kitchen operations and an outstanding resident dining experience.
