About The Position
Line Cooks, known at Chili’s as Heart of House Team Members, help set the pace for each shift by providing dependable, fast service. They prepare food according to Chili’s recipes, keep kitchen operations moving, and contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. The role is suited to someone who takes pride in teamwork and can work quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Properly learn and execute all recipe procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
