About The Position

The Host begins each Guest’s experience at Chili’s by providing a warm welcome and hospitality. The role includes managing the wait list, handling and directing incoming calls, communicating Guest concerns to a Manager when appropriate, assisting fellow Team Members, and helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Hosts should be friendly and caring, able to work quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant, and able to stand for long periods and safely lift and maneuver food trays when needed. No experience is necessary.

Requirements

• Friendly, warm, and caring attitude, ready to greet Guests with a smile.
• Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Ability to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.
• No experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Give a warm welcome to every Guest.
• Manage the wait list.
• Communicate Guest concerns to the Manager when appropriate.
• Answer the telephone within three rings and direct calls.
• Help fellow Team Members when appropriate.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
