About The Position

Hotel Interurban is hiring a part-time Line Cook to join its culinary team. The role contributes to memorable guest meals by preparing food with skill, creativity, and attention to customer needs. The position requires previous cooking experience, a state food handler’s license, knife skills, and the ability to adjust preparations for flavor and serve customers in a timely manner. The work is at Hotel Interurban, a 19-story hotel in Seattle Southside featuring the Rendition restaurant and Urban Roast grab-and-go options.

Requirements

• Previous cooking experience.
• Necessary state food handler’s license(s).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations to other employees.
• Knife skills.
• Ability to adjust preparations for flavor and accommodate customer needs in a timely manner.
