About The Position

Interlachen Country Club in Winter Park, Florida, is hiring experienced full-time line cooks for its Pool Kitchen & Bar and other club outlets. The Pool Kitchen is an indoor/outdoor casual dining facility serving members, families, and guests. As a member of the Pool Kitchen Culinary Team, the Line Cook sets up and maintains a workstation for lunch and/or dinner service. The role works collaboratively with other cooks, servers, and supervisors to ensure orders are accurate and prepared in a timely manner.

Requirements

Experienced line cook.
Must be flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
May be required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Requires occasional bending, lifting, and stretching.
Must be able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Prep and stock items needed for regular menu selections and weekly Pool Kitchen specials.
Prepare menu items and specials using standardized recipes and presentation photos as guidelines.
Cross-train on all Pool Kitchen stations: Pantry, Grill, Flat, Pizza, and Prep.
Label and stock ingredients on shelves to keep them organized and accessible.
Maintain the daily cleanliness of coolers, countertops, fryer, grill, and char-broiler.
Perform utility duties when a utility staff member is not scheduled.
Conduct oneself appropriately given the open nature of the kitchen.
Work as a team with other cooks, servers, and supervisors to ensure orders are accurate and timely.
