About The Position

Paradies Lagardère is hiring a Line Cook for Smokewood American Grill at Northwest Arkansas National Airport. The role prepares and serves food while following recipes, product directions, brand standards, and food-safety and sanitation requirements. The Line Cook helps maintain kitchen supplies and equipment, keeps food properly stored and labeled, and maintains a clean, organized, safe work environment. The position contributes to first-class experiences for airport travelers in a diverse and inclusive retail and dining environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare, season, cook, taste, carve, portion, and serve food items according to recipes and product directions with 100% recipe adherence.
Follow the production prep list and keep accurate records.
Request supplies and equipment as needed.
Use knives, slicers, and kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.
Wash, slice, and peel items on the prep list.
Store prepared food safely and ensure items are properly date-labeled.
Follow brand standards related to food safety, sanitation, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction.
Follow food-safety and sanitation practices and comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
Assist with ordering and planning food supplies as directed by the supervisor.
Report equipment repair and maintenance needs to management.
Monitor proper rotation and dating of prepared food items and storage areas.
Maintain a clean, organized work environment free of safety hazards.
Create and deliver first-class experiences for the traveling public.
