About The Position

Line Cooks (Noodle) prepare, cook, and plate all noodle-line items. They learn and follow Din Tai Fung’s recipes, cooking times, techniques, and plating guidelines, while maintaining ingredient quality and complying with labeling procedures. The role also includes maintaining clean, organized kitchen areas, assisting with deep cleaning, attending staff and Noodle meetings, and protecting confidential company information.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to provide documentation to work legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

Learn noodle recipes, cooking times, and techniques according to Din Tai Fung’s procedures.
Check ingredient quality before cooking.
Cook ingredients in accordance with Din Tai Fung’s recipes.
Plate finished products according to Din Tai Fung’s guidelines.
Prepare and cut garnishes for noodle-line items.
Label items in accordance with Health Department regulations and company procedures.
Attend monthly staff and Noodle meetings.
Keep kitchen areas clean and sanitized.
Organize items in walk-in coolers and freezers.
Lift and move boxes, bags, chairs, and tables weighing up to 50 pounds.
Assist with regular deep cleaning of the kitchen.
Maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary information, including recipes and Standard Operating Procedures.
Perform other job-related duties assigned by a supervisor.
