About The Position
Line Cooks at Chili's, referred to as Heart of House Team Members, help set the pace for a great shift by preparing food and supporting dependable, fast service. They work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for Team Members and Guests. Chili's is a casual dining restaurant founded in Dallas, Texas, in 1975. The company emphasizes service, hospitality, and giving back, and aims to provide a great experience to every Guest.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
