About The Position
Line Cooks are members of Chili’s Heart of House team and help set the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service. They prepare food by following recipe procedures, maintain a clean and safe kitchen, communicate ticket times, and keep orders moving continuously. The role contributes to a safe and welcoming environment for Team Members and Guests.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
