About The Position

The Light Equipment Operator 2 operates offline and auxiliary binding, finishing, and packaging equipment. The operator sets up and adjusts machines and equipment for production runs, and cleans, lubricates, and maintains machines to support optimal operation. The role may include troubleshooting issues, submitting maintenance requests, coordinating crewmember assignments, and training new team members. The position is described as a 12-hour rotating shift, with hours listed as 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The schedule rotates between Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday in Week 1, and Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Week 2. Experienced candidates may be eligible for a higher rate of pay.

Requirements

Knowledge of standard equipment setups, adjustments, and operating characteristics, and the skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment.
Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to equipment according to individual job requirements and the equipment’s operating characteristics and capabilities.
